THE SONG OF THE QUEEN BEE
Drawing from my work as an artist and the knowledge inherited from my father, a beekeeper, for several years I have chosen to create in collaboration with bees. This practice has led me to analyze interspecies communication between living beings, particularly between bees and humans. Through creative expressions —sculptures designed to be inhabited by bee colonies and functioning as spaces of observation— connections are established between these insects, humans, and their shared environment. Empathy, analysis, observation, and a sustained interest in bees have driven me to explore other ways of perceiving communication, in order to imagine new forms of relationships among the human and non-human beings who inhabit this world.
